Missing MPC One activation code

Hey everyone,

Just bought a brand new MPC One. I've updated the firmware, but can't install the software MPC 2. This is because I cannot find an activation code(?) in my account. When I click activation code beside MPC 2.10 in the registered products page of my AKAI profile, it says: "THERE IS NO SERIAL CODE LEFT, OR SERIAL CODE IS NOT FOUND." The only activation code I receive is for the Virtual AIR instruments.

I've tried connecting to iLok, but there is no activation code there either, naturally.

What's going on here? Do new MPC One's not come with the bloody software? Is that something I have to buy separately? This isn't making a lick of sense to me. Please help <3

Only option is to contact Akai, clearly a bug in your account

I read one user say he just uses MPC beatz to avoid having to deal with iLok. I will probably end up doing the same if i ever bother to set up the software. iLok is the reason i gave up on trying to use my legitimate legal copy of MPC software. Excellent deterrent, it even works on people with serials!
