Hi Guys,
I recently got a live mk1 from having a 2500 with jjos xl for years and I have a question about pad cutoffs. On the 2500, I could have a program on mono cutoff and record pads on track 1 (for example) that would cut each other off. I could lace a pattern on track one, and then move to track 2 with the same exact program on mono cutoff. I could layer pads from the same program on track 2 over track 1, and the pads on track 2 WOULD NOT cut-off or interfere with any of the patterns on track , which seems to be the case with the Live.
On the live this does not seem possible. Am I missing something super basic here? or do I need to duplicate the same program in live, and then use that duplicate program on track 2 to be able to keep the pad cutoffs on different tracks separate.
I understand they are different OS's / workflows but I found it super simple and quick on jjos and to get that same thing in Live it seems to require adding a lot of extra work to get the same thing.
Thanks for your time,
D
