I sent this as a feature request but not sure if they read that so it may get better visibility here if other users like the idea. thought it was worth opening a thread too considering its a broader scope than a usual feature request.

Akai, please consider adding accesibility/visibility options such as grayscale or adjustable colour variations for colourblind users, screen invert, or high contrast modes. if possible even just a simplified graphic set. it would massively assist partially sighted users and also no doubt be used by users who just prefer a simplified look. lots of users would appreciate the style of graphics used on all older MPCs. it has a functional purpose too. no redesign of the actual interface would be necessary, just some simple graphic asset replacements or activating some accessibility features that already exist within linux

in this vein also possibly blue light filter for late night use as is now a standard feature on windows.

I think in the future more music gear companies will add accesibility options as default and akai would be at the forefront on this matter. as they should be considering theyre the only company right now with such big colour screens.

Keep on sending directly to Akai/inmusic. This site isn't affiliated with Akai and they don't even post here since almost a decade ago it seems.
