hello I have always used my MPC only in standalone and I have just installed the MPC 2 software, is it possible to open a project made on the standalone in the software? or am I obliged to insert track by track (wav) after an export?

The complete tutorial guide to the MPC X, MPC Live & MPC One
Did you just try loading one of your existing live projects in the software? What problems are you having?

Unless I'm missing something it's super weird that the MPC software doesn't have a "Load..." option under the "File" menu; it only has "Load Recent." When I want to load a project in controller mode and it's not listed under "Load Recent" I have to load it from the hardware.

Use the integrated browser and double click the project file. You can use the filter there to find it quicker if you‘re struggling finding it.
