To my surprise, it seems like whatever you select on Pad perform gets applied to every program/track.
So if I have two synths hooked up to the MPC, one monophonic and the other polyphonic, I can't give those different pad perform settings. Either, I'm sending the monophonic synth a bunch of chords or I don't use pad perform at all. It seems like something that should be stored in each track (ideally) or, at least, each program.
Hitting 3 touch screen moves to turn it on or off or change it is just not conducive for live vibes.
Also, I really wish I could trigger the pad perform from a keyboard, if desired...
