I get this message on the MPC One, so I then next have to acknowledge the message, go into a new project, press some weird combination of buttons so that i enter controller mode

Then I load the MPC software, I do file export/ Expansion..
I select all the expansions, then i select the MPC Drive and click OK

It removes this splash screen and does absolutely nothing

This software / hardware is like hell on earth, i am very close to asking for a refund if I'm honest.

1. All you need to enter controller mode is to perform two clicks
2. If you read the message you'll see it's not about expansions
3. If you search forums you'll see for example this thread: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=213592&p=1845449&hilit=new+new+plugin+new+plugin+instruments#p1845449
4. When posting it's good to give any information about the context in which ti happened - here i assume it happened after installing 2.10 update, but it's not always clear.
5. Check out the the manual

If you're talking about the extra synth content, there's a link to it in your akai account, but this link hangs for some people. Instead, launch the desktop software, click on help and you'll see a dedicated get synth content button. Included are instructions.

Once you've installed them, you'll still get the popup when you launch MPC, so as long as you now have Hype (one if the extra synths) available you can just click remind me later or don't show again
