Razor tool

Akai you should implement a razor tool in the software so it will be easy to cut notes in half or 8th or other length such as 1/8 or 1/16 or 1/32 view mode instead of using the Q links to shorten the notes or making them longer the razor tool will help to make a easy work flow in the software please take into consideration to making this happen for a easy workflow

Check out ratchet in 2.11 or slice/split events option

The screen on even the X is nowhere near accurate enough for this to be remotely useful and they know it. I am certain that the grid edit stuff is set up extremely badly to make you blame the tools rather than the screen

A razor tool would of course have a cursor line, "cuthead" like the playhead line, which would be moved with Q-links and/or the Data Dial.
