Pretty sure that’s what the existing 2.11.3 was, I doubt akai are releasing updates on a Saturday

Really? Isn't NTFS support native for Linux (which the MPC OS rides on)? It's been supported since the 5.15 kernel anyway.
Edit: I think you've confused HFS+ for NTFS...
