Did anybody have this problem when an audio jack is just stuck in the socket and you can't get them out? How did you solve it? Probably without opening the device. I got one out after some fiddling but now it won't "click" back into place anymore. The socket is still working though. But the other one is still stuck and I don't want to destroy the socket.

This is usually the case with cheap cables. Can‘t help you with your problem at hand, but avoid e.g. Thomann‘s cheapest („ssssnake“ I believe).

Funny you show say that because it's one of this cables that did the damage I got the other one out in the meantime. Lots of turning an gentle pulling and at some point it gave up. But the other socket seems be needing replacement Or I switch to XLR here What sucks is that it's the one place where I still use those cables. Oh well. Thanks for the heads up

This happened to me with garbage cables that the tip goes off center on. The end broke off inside the jack. Ended up using a very small metal file, and needle nose, and gently, and slowly nudged the tip out. Never happened with other gear with those cables, so I guess MPC is more prone to that.

I’ve never had that happen before, even with budget cables from Amazon. That’s ridiculous.

I have had this happen quite a few times. The trick is finding something that is wedged and pliable so that you can push it inside and grab by tension. A pencil can work. A straw maybe? You may be able to use a fat q tip. If you search ebay and amazon they actually make tools that make this a breeze.
