Can pads be folded on Drum Programs within grid view

After briefly looking through the bible and using the search function for "fold tracks / hide grid view" I am at a loss as to how to hide unused pads within a drum program, referred to as Fold on the MIDI piano roll within Ableton.

Maybe you guys do it differently on the MPC but the problem I have is that I have a 4 bank drum program and say, I have a kick on A02 and everything else on D07 upwards. This means I cannot see the full drum sequence at max zoom level. If i could "fold" the unused pads then I would.

Can this be done?

I understand what you are saying, but it's not possible to do this in grid view. It's a great feature suggestion though. List edit wouldn't be a problem though, it only shows entries for recorded events.

List view looks handy for pinpointing individual notes "if" you know what time in the sequence they are at.

I suppose i'll have to cherry pick my master drum programs and make new ones to suit the project.
