Support and discussion for all of Akai’s modern standalone MPCs including the MPC X / X SE, MPC Live 1, 2 & 3, MPC One / One+, MPC Key 37/61.
How to you stretch one sample across all 12 pads? I saw a video with this in it from Akai but forgot which one it was in.

Which MPC? The 500 has 12 pads, but you're posting in the MPC X/One/Live/Key forum.

If you mean in the current standalone MPCs, then you can convert any pad (within a DRUM program) into its own keygroup instrument using the keyboard icon at the top of the screen in program edit. Or create a blank keygroup program and just assign a sample to layer 1 of the default keygroup.

Well there's the 16 Pads button, and you can set it to TUNE.
