Hi guys

I've spent all the afternoon fiddling with an Artura Keylab Essential 61 on my MPC Live II , and started having a few issues (some already have been mentioned here in the forum), such as:

- hitting keys on c-1 octave sounds as c5
- Missing Midi assignments after saving
- One of the effects crashed completely after using an assigned fader (In my case Granulator with an assigned fader to the Mix slider)
- MPC buttons not responding, some times i could only press Main button,
- Duplicated programs
- audio glitches with some effects

My project is kinda complex (lots of keygroups/effects and 8 plugins) and was last saved on 2.10 version, in standalone. I've updated both the MPC and the PC Software, and it has the latest version 2.11.4, and it is where i'm experiencing this issues.

So i decided to create a new project with just a plugin and granulator, made the same midi assignments and renamed the program to "test". Same issues occurred.

When I tried to open the previous project on the PC Software, connecting ther arturia to the PC as well. I noticed 2 weird things:

- All the programs were listed as duplicated, as if the same list was rendered twice.
- Midi control section, Global Tab, User presets had like 100 Arturia presets loaded with a "(Copy XXX)" suffix.

Back to standalone, programs didn't show up more than once in the program list.

Tested the the test project (made on standalone) on PC software. Similar issues.

- in the PC Software i deleted all those duplicated programs, by changing on each track to the program with the same name, deleting it, and assigning again the previous program.
- I also shut down PC software, opened in explorer "C:\ProgramData\Akai\MPC\Midi Learn" and deleted all the Arturia presets copies there.

I noticed that after reassigning programs, when i then change to a different sequence using the same programs, they were all unassigned, had to reassign again.

Saved, and opened in standalone.

AUDIO GLITCHES WERE GONE. but some of the other issues remained.

Opened the test project to see if the duplicated programs were still there. they weren't. Then when i went to Midi Control do assing again and make a few test more, I noticed that the default Midi 001, Clip 001 and CV001 where there, but not the default Program 001.

WELL, new test project, but this time keep the default programs there!
No rename, no change, nothing. Just create new programs on all modes. Saved and reboot.

All the issues i had where gone. Super responsive, midi learn and assignment working properly, no octaves issue anymore.

I opened back the big project, and in fact I recall deleting those default programs. After creating the programs with same default names, saving and rebooting, it is working flawlessly now, at least for the issues I was having.

TL;DR DO NOT TOUCH THE DEFAULT PROGRAMS, MPC NEEDS THEM.
ALWAYS CREATE NEW PROGRAMS INSTEAD OF EDITING DEFAULTS.
