I receive the following error message when opening the MPC Beats VSTi in Reaper:
"The MPC hardware drivers were not properly installed on your computer. The controls will not work properly.
Please re-install the following drivers, then restart MPC Beats.
MPC One: not installed"
I don't receive this message on standalone, where I can hit a few of the hardware buttons, but they do not correspond with the position of the pads on screen (they're mismatched and some hardware pads don't light up on the computer.)
I don't believe the MPC while in controller mode is supposed to stay on the "looking for computer" screen but that's what I get.
My MPC is up to date and I've looked everywhere to download everything necessary (new MIDI network driver and firmware as well). I've read that there's a potential conflict with the M1 chip but not sure if that would apply in this scenario. Please tell me if I'm missing anything or if there's a YouTube video that addresses this specific issue because I can't find a definitive answer.
