I'd really like a a new MPC to be SP404 or MPC500 sized. Or something in between that fits in my backpack.

I recently traded in Maschine+SP for a MPC, and really miss the portability of the SP404. I spent countless hours on the train hammering out beats.

    Touch screen a lil smaller than the MPC ONE
    Multifunction buttons like on the SP (saves a ton of space)
    Q-links on top and give them more functionality and purpose defined in software
    rotary knob, transport buttons and cursor, also multifeature like in the Q-links
    full 16 pads
    I/Os on the back.. 2in2out, headphones, usb
    class compliant
    able to run on AA batteries
    retro color scheme
    maybe removable faceplate like what the kids love to customise

MPC One pads more tightly packed in that case, they have so large gaps.

I'd like to see an MPC One with a built in battery, and a tilt screen. Internal speaker would be nice, but not necessary.
