Record MIDI Sequence on Roland to MPC

Hi, I’m trying to record a sequence I made on a Roland JU-06a. I can hook it up to the MPC but just can’t GET the recorded sequence on to my MPC.

How have you tried to do it so far? Essentially, if you've got everything connected correctly you should just be able to hit record and the midi notes will record as your sequence plays. Have you set the midi channels correctly?

I just re-read this and realised that I assumed you were trying to record the midi notes (I do that a lot). Your title is a bit confusing. Are you trying to record the audio? If you go to the audio tab and make sure that on your Track you have RECORD armed and set to either IN or AUTO.

Lastly, you need to use the "Rec" button to start your recording, not "OverDub".
