Program Groups - Drums vs Keygroups

I watched a video tutorial (Mpc Sequences, Tracks and Programs Explained) that stated that drum programs exist on programs 1-9 and the keygroup programs automatically start at program 10. With 1-9 being exclusively Drum Programs.
The video example showed an empty project with Track 1 and below Drum Program as Program 001 - then he selected the keyboard icon in the track section and the Program section below moved to Program 10 automatically.
However when I am In Track 1 showing below Drum Program as Program 001 - and I select the keyboard icon the program moves to Program 3 and shows keygroup program.
Is this correct or evidence of a software update on my machine vs the video or vice versa?
I have firmware 2.11.6 and control surface v0.50

New programs are automatically named chromatically starting at program 001, then 002 etc, doesn't matter if it's drum or keygroup. Programs 1-9 are not exclusive to drum programs. If you start a new project, the default drum program is 001, then if you create a new keygroup program it will be program 002.

But the name means nothing, there's no significance to the number and you can of course immediately rename it to whatever you want.
