I have a question about firmware updates. Do I have to go through each update step by step or can I skip one and still have e.g. the synths from the update I left out?

You dont need to install each of the updates. You can install the latest update from your mpc and it will install all the changes and what’s been added.

That and the original post in my Eastern US time zone was 5:20 a.m. Most people aren't up at that hour in the morning. Granted, this is a worldwide forum, but still, more likely to get answers faster during the afternoon and evening in Europe and the US.
