Thanks in advance folks but no one around me has a mpc key 61 work station could someone tell me if the semi weighted keyboard is the same that's used on the other akai controllers such as the mpk 49 that goes for around 500 dollars at GC I think I could at least get an Idea if they are the same I have a old korg m1 and o1w are the keyboards on mpc key 61 work station similar thanks again they don't have key 61 where I live to try

If you have a Guitar Center nearby, that will be the best place to compare keybeds with the Key 61, most have them in stock.

Thanks Guys The GC in Spokane has not had a demo since they came out its a scaled down store they do have some akai controllers which are semi weighted but they feel really really light compared to my korg m1 and other semi weighted controllers I've tried

Keys61 does feel light, compared to ASR-10, compared to Korg Kronos2.

Thanks l think it should work for me they say the Korg M1 was the best seller of all times I think the Key 61 will break its record too bad we all had to wait so long Thanks again to all

Keys61 break M1 record, I doubt it will.
BUT, realistically, I have a Keys61 and never had an M1…….
So….
Even in my own house Keys61 has broken the M1’s record
