Hi all, I lost all abilities to connect to WIFI.

The On-Off button greys out when i press it.
And nothing happens. Everytime i get out and back into the WIFI page, i'm able to restart the process, without ever having the ability to connect !

Please help, thank you in advance :)

make sure Time and Time zone are set correctly. Otherwise there will be issues in connecting to the internet. This is also true for any other OS. If your Mac shows a wrong date there will be internet issues.

Hey, thanks for your answer. The time was fixed to UTC, which is 4 hours late.
I fixed it manually and it's now good. But somehow, it stays on UTC. even when i change the time zone, it always reverts back to UTC ...

Maybe that's the reason my WIFI is f**ked ?

I'd really like to get access to my Air Flavor Pro in stand alone ..

Mine was flakey during warranty, went grey after that. iPhone won't tether, and no luck with timezone settings. I finally relented and purchased a tp-link USB 3.0 to RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter which successfully added connectivity. Unfortunately I have to unspool about 50ft of cable for it to reach the modem, or I'd leave it plugged-in all the time as the current Akai strategy appears to require.

Anyone found a solution yet, that doesn't involve an Ethernet cable?

I have the same issue as someone described before, ie the Wifi button is greyed out when you click on it, and even if I plug an Ethernet cable into the back and into my router, I still get a "Disconnected" error.

So basically, neither Wi-fi nor Ethernet work. They used to work fine before.

I chatted with Akai Tech Support, and they suggested:
(1) disconnecting my internal SSD, and then trying again
(2) downgrading firmware from 2.12.1

I did both of those, and downgraded to 2.12 and also to 2.11.9, and still the issue persists.

They then suggested sending it in for repair, which would be at my cost, as I bought it used.

I don't think I am going to bother with that, and just live with it, unless someone else has found a solution?

Okay, so thanks to a user on Reddit, I finally managed to fix the issue!

These are the steps I followed:
1) Downgrade to 2.10.0. (At this point, there is still no Wi-fi)
2) Upgrade directly to 2.12.0

Once you've upgraded to 2.12.0, you'll find Wi-fi working again. I didn't try 2.12.1, as that might have worked too. However, once on Wi-fi on 2.12.0, it automatically asks if you want to download 2.12.1 via Wi-fi.

It seems the issue is caused by something to do with the 2.11.x firmware.

Have you disassembled your Live before? The WiFi Antenna cable may be dislodged?
