I need advice for my band in regards to using the MPC Live. We currently have a stereo mix of our backing tracks(drums, synth, occasional vocals) and it's coming out flat at shows and I'd like to give the house the ability to carve it out a bit.
I'm going to breakout the kick from every song as well as synths and percussion. Currently I hit a pad and the song engages. Is there a way to launch several samples at the same time? I fear if I'm hitting 3 pads they'll be slightly off.
I might be overlooking something or overthinking but most my experience with my MPC has started with it and is loop based, not taking tracks from something else and putting them in the MPC.
I suppose I could make a really long sequence length and have each pad trigger when I push play, but that seems silly.
