MPC LIVE 2 Song Mode - Can only paste a single sequence

As per the title.
Created 2 x sequences - one 09 bars long (odd I know but intentional) and a second one which is a simple 4 bar loop.

Both play just fine in main window.

When I go to Song mode I see both my sequences depicted on pads 1 and 2. Clicking INSERT only inserts whatever was last selected in the MAIN window. Selecting either of the sequences and pressing INSERT always results in the same sequence being inserted - there is no way to select the other sequence.

I have watched the tutorial on this and can't see that I'm doing anything wrong but clearly I am.

Anybody else seen this problem? I thought it was going to be a simple case of select the sequence and Insert but no...it will only allow the last sequence selected in the MAIN window to be inserted. Kind of a pointless SONG mode if it only consists on the one sequence !!!

Figured it out. I was expecting to have to select the sequence from a pad or from the touch screen but this is not how it is done. It is done by inserting 'any' sequence (hence I was always seeing the same one) and then changing the properties of the inserted sequence to select the required sequence.

Easy when you know how !

A faster way to insert sequences : in song mode, press rec and then tap the pads corresponding to the different sequences, the order you want. Press stop when finished.
