What am I doing wrong? My goal is to use Logic Pro X as the master Midi clock. I use Motu Midi Express XT as my interface.

My MPC always starts on the wrong clock position. Only good part, is that the starting point is always consistently wrong. Is there a setting that I'm missing?

My goal is track and manage song development through Logic Pro, play hardware devices through Motu, and record all outputs through my Tascam board. Everything works as expected, except for the MPC clock time.[

Does anyone recommend a device like a "E-RM Multiclock"? Is there a better product than a Motu Midi Express? Or something else?

I also posted my question on Reddit and with no success

I am an occasional user of Logic with my MPC One and other external gear. I have to relearn a few things each time to get sync/clock working as it should. Invariably it involves a bit of a faff with Project Settings in Logic. Under the general tab, keep Sync Mode at Internal, Bar Position at 1-1-1-1 and SMPTE at 00:00:00:00.00. Under the MIDI tab, tick Clock and MMC for All Destinations, Clock Start at 1-1-1-1, and tick Transmit MMC. Can't help you with any MOTU settings - my interface is a cheap-as-chips Behringer. I also stick with five pin DIN for all MIDI connections. This new-fangled USB malarkey is beyond my ken.
