MPC Live fails to connect to Software – USB drive works

Hi guys, as stated above my Live doesn't connect anymore to the MPC Software on macOS. I recently updated to 2.11.9 and since then only the USB drive gets connected, but the Live keeps showing "Looking for computer".

Tried opening the Software first, then connecting the MPC and vice versa. Tried restarting everything.

In the Software I can select the MPC audio ins and outs, they work just fine, even though the display still shows "Looking for computer". So the USB connection is definitely working.

Any ideas?

have you updated both the standalone firmware AND the app? sometimes when you try to update the app from its own "check for updates" it says that you are up to date when in fact there is an update available. it happened to me with the last version. if that's the case, go to your inmusic account and download the updated mpc 2 software app from there.
