With the octatrack, i have a slider functionality that allows me to go from A to B and change the effect applied gradually.

Do we have that sort of function on MPC, so gradually for example the cutoff is increased etc.

Shame if they don't have that feature

There's no scenes as per the octatrack. There are ways that you can set up pads to act in a similar way (to a scene you can trigger) , however this will be a convoluted workaround that won't give you the same satisfaction as the OT crosfader.

If you want to draw in modulation of the cutoff this can be done via the grid.

If you wish to record your modulation of the cutoff, this can be achieved via the mod rec setting.

Hold down the Q-Link button to configure custom Q-link assignments, in 'program' mode you could assign filter cut off to qlink and perform the cut off using automation write. For a drum program pad use 'pad scene' to apply filter cut off to a pad. For a whole program you'll have to use a filter FX plugin and assign the Qlink to the cut off dial in the plugin.
