MPC Key 61 Constant Clock Out

Hi all, does anyone know if it's possible to send out a constant clock signal via either CV or MIDI? I would really like to have my Pam's clock constantly driven by the MPC without having to hit play. The internal clock of the MPC is being generated all the time looking at the tap tempo so I was hoping there might be a way to route that into a gate or trigger?

As Pamela doesn't have mid, I think it's have to be CV. I've not used CV, but from I understand, you can set up a CV track, program quarter notes, and send them as clock triggers from the CV out.

i think because -especially at the beginning) - they had trouble(s) keeping the MIDI stream stable, and adding a MIDI sensing message every xx milliseconds wouldn't help in that regard

Try using a metronome click with ENABLE: Record + Play, SOUND: MPC Click, and RATE as something that the Pamela is expecting. And OUTPUT through the Key 61's outs 3-4 or something, connected to the Pamela's CV input. This may or may not work, I do not have a Pamela, but I've been able to use the Force's metronome click as sync for an Arduino based contraption. It should be more accurate than MIDI and the CV/gate as well, since audio is sample accurate, but MIDI and CV are far from it.

EDIT. Oops, I realized that even with record+play, it won't play if the transport is stopped. Just an idea anyway.
