I ask the question just to be sure I can stop searching about it, but I'm afraid there's no way to do a backward into folder explorer without touchscreen...Am I wrong?
I dislike touchscreens and manage to do lots of principal operations on my Live, with the help of shortcuts except this simple operation...
A pity that a shift + clic the jog wheel don't do the job...

Also strange that there's lots of shortcuts that are not even in the manual...

Which ones? Can you elaborate?

AFAIK only "back" option in the browser is on the X with the left cursor

about shortcuts I haven't seen: shift + rec for example, have I missed it in the manual?

keyboard is an idea, but if ever it works it doesn't makes my workflow so much better

' with the left cursor' you mean cursor of the mouse? it will not free my workflow anymore but anyway, mouse isn't supported, another strange mindset from Akay...

Still don't know how to be notified about answers onto this forum, asked several time about this but nobody answers...

It's a touchscreen device so the workflow and development is going to go that way.
It's a clear understanding based on how things have grown since the release of the Touch and it going to only go further in that direction.

I would suggest that since you already have the LIVE that you accept that and get comfortable with the use of the touchscreen.
Will probably save you a lot of future headaches.

My finger aren't done for touch screen, they are hardened by the manual work, I use touch screen but it doesn't work well, also they are too big for catching notes into the grid, a stylus helps me a lot into this case. I appreciate that akay let people avoid the touch screen with lots of shortcuts but for the folder exploration, once they have done jog wheel clic to dig in, why not ading a shift + for the reverse way..
And I'm not the only guy to think about this...https://www.reddit.com/r/mpcusers/comments/ptj3id/back_button_in_browse_menu_mpc_one/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2

Yes, touchscreen, that's the proper modern experience. I suppose that they'll eventually remove MIDI and USB connections, because using external keyboards and MIDI learn and other such things circumvents the Grand Design of the TUI. Akai knows best, it's all for your own good.
