iLok: What can I do if I lose a license?

Hasn't happened, but you never know when hardware fails or is stolen. What happens to the iLok license installed for MPC software? It is just gone?

Inform Akai about what happened. They can handle it.
I once had exactly that case (not with Akai, though) after trashing the wrong motherboard, which is identical to „machine is broken“.
In my case I choose the USB iLok and they transferred existing licenses from hardware based to dongle.

Same , akai moved the license for me within 24 hrs .
