Stage Piano: Lag with Patch Changes

When I bought my MPC One+ last month, I spent my free plug-in voucher on the Air Stage Piano. I love the sound and responsiveness of it, but there's about a three-second lag (during which there's no sound) when changing patches. In some cases, patches don't seem to load up at all. I have to switch to another patch and back, or change the plug-in and back to Stage Piano. In short, Stage Piano behaves oddly.

Is this just a normal Stage Piano experience? Or is there something I can do about it?

it's "normal" for Stage Piano and Fabric (Studio Strings a lil bit) because they're just more memory-intensive than the other plugins. it kinda is what it is

OK, fair enough! I'll put up with it, then. As long as I don't have to re-install it or something.

Once a Stage Piano patch finally loads up, it's freaking gorgeous.

3 seconds is honestly quite fast for these new plugins to load

The MPC used to have a progress bar when loading these plugins, but some stable genius over at Akai had the brilliant idea to remove it as a way to make it seem like it was loading faster. So now, instead of *knowing* it's loading, you can sit there and think there's a problem with your machine until you hear sound.
