Hi is there a way of moving multiple key edit notes in multiple tracks at once. So a command that says for example every note from bar 25 move 5 bars.

This would help greatly trying to edit an arrangement in the middle of a track

Cheers

On same track yes, multiple tracks, not that I can think of, no (I only use hardware).

Insert blank bars (and customise bar length) if it’s every track…? but maybe it isn’t every track you want to move

Yes, to clarify, I was hoping for something where I can move content of multiple tracks at the same time, with a command.

There is not a single command but you can insert empty bars, then copy track by track. Or copy bars of the entire sequence into the empty inserted bars and then do your edits. You could also duplicate your sequence, edit the section you want, then copy or insert into your original sequence.

It's a bit daunting at first getting to know how to use the clinically sterile arrangement tools but once you get the hang of it you can have lightening fast workflow.

The cons are you have to mentally keep track of a lot of things as it is less visual. The pros are undo, redo and practically every operation happens in a split second so you should never fear experimenting with moving , pasting, copying as you can always undo it and do it over in a different way. Just keep in mind that undo/redo is unlimited until you save.
