Any guitar players out there using overdrive pedals into their MPC?
Thanks

I use a couple different fx pedals but all of them end up routed into an analog mixer with phono before they go into the mpc. otherwise they come out really tinny and weak even with the maximizer insert and compression.

Thanks. Yeah, mine would go to a mixer first, in fact.
FWIW, after five years of waiting, I finally was able to order the analog man king of tone pedal. So I’m checking to see if it makes much sense to try putting that into the MPC or not.

never hurts to have extra fx processors of sorts imho. the mpc is pretty dang good but automating the fx isnt exactly intuitive for a guitar player. gotta take a hand off the guitar tap the screen.. another option is skimp out on the pedal and just buy a foot controller for triggering the mpc fx (but its a nightmare to configure each project)
