Note Off messages effecting notes on different channel

I have an external sequencer connected by 5 pin Midi sending a pedal note of G to the MiniD on Channel 7. I have a Jura on 8 and the Odyssey on 9. When I play the same G (same octave only) on my keyboard, the note duration is getting cut off by the pedal note playing on a the different midi channel. playing the not from the pad on the MPC one does not create the same issue. All tracks are set to In, although switching the Jura to Merge or Auto has the same issue.

I there something I'm missing. I thought the bugs around using different midi channels had all been sorted. I'm on 2.12.0

it is a well known bug that reach early 2021 lol
I think they wont fix it until 3.x rewrite as the midi event tracking is broken at it's core and there is no point to rebulid it from the ground up.
