Hi. I have an amazing Akai MPC X SE. I see that when I turn on the machine sometimes the touchscreen seem freezing. If I touch on empty project or if I try to touch everything on the screen it doesn't work. So I have to restar machine and later it plays for hours without issues. Sometimes it starts amazing but other time expecially if I don't use the Akai from 2-3 days the first time I turn on it the touchscreen seem freezed. I have reset the preferences but nothing. I have the last version of firmware. I have an SD card with my sound and also a ssd installed. What I can do to solve this issue? It doesn't seem an hardware problem because after the restart it works properly for hours.

Someone can help me?
Thank you.

Alberto.

Not sure honestly, but I'll tell you that I got my X SE in May and had to return it because the OLED strip for Qlink 13 wasn't working. I'm receiving my second one Monday as they have been sold out everywhere for months. Hopefully I don't have any more problems with this one. I'm hoping they're not all just poorly QA'd garbage, but it wouldn't surprise me! Best of luck with yours.

This recurring screen problem is really worrying.

Given the price of the machine, that raises questions.

I, who was very ready to buy one, may be reconsidering my purchase.

At worst, an Mpc Live 2 and a midi controller (Midimax) to replace the 13 qlinks of the X Se to control hardware.

Is there the same problem with the Live 2 touch screen?

MPCs not reliable?

Given the difficulty in having Mpc, new models?

Hi.
Currently I have not inserted any SD card or SSD hard drive.
Unfortunately when I turn it on 9 times out of 10 the touchscreen does not work. I have to wait at least a couple of minutes, leaving it on and then restart.
Once restarted it works smoothly.
But every time I turn it on the next day I have the same problem again.

I also updated the firmware to the latest version, but nothing. I restored the original firmware but nothing.

Probably it is a hardware problem even if it is strange because after some reboot it works without problems.

I have no idea...
