Flex Beat for standalone…

The videos vanished, hope they work different than the XY effects, my drums go to different outputs.

I was able to play the video... maybe a hiccup?

not sure if i want or need this...

nah that's a hard pass for me as you can't even edit envelopes.

i though it was a new time stretch algo because the standalone ones sxxxk

But how is it possible to automate this plugin on a whole beat or one track in a whole beat , i dont to want have fixed loop setting for the fx

From a creative standpoint, I like what it can do.

It puts a lot of the edits I would do in a DAW a lot earlier in the process for me.

Now if it's priced ludicrously, I guess I'll go back to using my old faithful Sugarbytes plugins.

You create and export custom envelopes from the full version of flex beat, they can be used inside player

Load as an insert on the program or pad level, arm automation, go to the plug in, press play, press the pads on the tui

I was surprised that it is compatible with the FL plug-in.

loving what i'm hearing so far from the demo videos but the workflow for what it's supposed to do in real-time seems . . . clunky? like to have it available in a live setting seems to require a bit of menu diving and window scrolling.

-1 for the tiny font. One of the many reasons I left computers behind to go back to full standalone was the ridiculous amount of squinting I had to do looking at a computer screen. It’s been nice being able to read everything on the MPC screen clearly

It bothers me that Akai has a whole ass screen to work with, but chooses to shrink everything down to center the content leaving almost 40% of the screen unused. Then again, most of these plugins are just cash grabs of old software, so I guess I expect too much.

purchased Flex Beat for my MPC One but i'm not sure my workflow is gonna make it work. i sequence everything in the MPC externally from a Deluge. but i'm finding when I send MIDI clock sync to the MPC, it's triggering the Flex Beat plugin with every sync pulse that the Deluge send out. so that little progress bar in the bottom of each Flex Beat pad is jittery as hell and the effect is not working on any drum program pad as intended. alternatively, if i turn the clock sync off, then Flex Beat just doesn't apply any of the effects to a given drum program pad when I press the touchscreen. i understand this isn't how most people generally sequence with MPC so it may be an unsolvable issue but something about the way Flex Beat is apparently responding to otherwise normal clock sync feels off? (although my MPC sequence is blank, even if I extend the bar count from 1 to [any number], Flex Beat still retriggers each pad effect when the clock sync is received)
