Recently I managed to set all my gear up for a small home studio.
Mpc x + eurorack synth + Behring Monopoly. All running through a focusrite 8pre I think (the 1 with 4 inputs) which is connected to an apple mac book pro which has plenty of RAM and such as.
When I'm playing about with a beat and try syncing the eurorack up with the 1 of the CV channels at the back of the MPC, it works for a while (minor drifts in timing but nothing major) but then after a while the MPC is completely unresponsive...the green playback light remains lit, the pads don't sound. The only option is to shutdown which then takes a decent while after the freeze.
Anyone any ideas?
