Fabric XL Stand Alone on MS Surface Pro using favorites?

Would love to use these sounds in my life rig but on a dark stage I would need some kind of easy graphical interface to pre program 8 or 9 favorites. Anyone know how I can accomplish this without using main stage?

If you only want to run Fabric XL by itself, without a DAW or anything else, you can use a VST host app. Tone 2 NanoHost would do the trick:

Launch the app, then point it to wherever the VST installed, it will run as if it's a completely standalone app.

Thanks...I can run the stand alone already on the Surface pro 8 tablet but amd looking for a front end better than the VST as its hard to read onstage.

Xotopad, with LoopBe to merge the MIDI streams ( I think, haven't tested the latter yet.)

Yes. I can confirm that Loop Be does the merging properly, so you can set your program changes up on Xotopad, use Loop Be to connect that to Fabric, and then Bob's your uncle.

I've been using a similar setup recently with Emulator X as the instrument, and Xotopad firing samples. I'm also using Midi Ox to map program changes from my Hydrasynth to the Emulator.
