Sampling PC Audio

Hi folks just wondered if anyone is able to point me in the right direction. Am looking for a way to sample the audio from my windows PC, on my MPC X in standalone (ie not using the MPC daw/software). Is this acheivable with a USB audio interface and changing a few settings in windows or does this require me to take the audio out of my pc straight into the MPC? Thank you =)

use your speaker/headphone out jack on your computer, and connect it to the inputs on your MPC.
