Not so nice job.

Bluetooth was greyed out, and it took me 30min to figure out that it's likely because there was a new update available (computer does this sometimes). Connected to a nearby network and updated...only to realize all plugins were deactivated again. Went to activate, and it wanted me to sign into the InMusic profile. Problem is, I'm nowhere near my computer since, you know, I'M AT PRACTICE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN.

Fuming is an absolute understatement. I guess I'm supposed to connect to mobile hotspots and keep my InMusic login info on me at all times now?

During an update since licensing is being tracked .. any update wifi should be on.. I'm going to update my X in a few I'll give an update..

Update:

Downloaded the MPC updater 2.12.3 put my MPC in update mode firmware updated fine.. launched inmusic software updated the software and all my plugins were fine..

Niiice, updated fine and is working good so far. Looks like they fixed me having to log back in to my account every day when I turned on my MPC One. Turned it off twice so far and am logged in automatically now. This was annoying me the last while so glad this is fixed. Curious what all is in the update.

But not this one. They must have fixed all the bugs so there's nothing to report.

You probably meant to say "only" instead of "all" because If they really fixed "all" the bugs in one update, they would be nominated for Noble Peace Prize, so no way they wouldn't report all that.

It's not good policy to not include the release notes when offering a update. Even if it's a simple thing, tell us what the hell you did to the machine we paid for.

Also, don’t give me none of that mysterious red ninja talk like "System Enhancements"...like what fool?, why so secretive? & how are we supposed to guage the quality of these improvements if we don't know exactly what they are? :hmmm:

"New D mini bass from moog"

Not really sure what the purpose of that video is, other than to watch in real time, someone waiting for a zip file to download to their computer.

He is actually reading out the release notes from the previous 2.12.2 release, it clearly states 'New in v2.12.2' at the top of the pop up. Akai have since added the standard 'Bug Fixes & Stability Enhancements' message specifically for 2.12.3.

Agreed. Release Notes/Changelogs should as the name implies list the changes that are included in that release. That includes new features, removed features, fixed bugs and if they know about it already bugs or limitations they’ve introduced in that release.
