Another MIDI question

Hey there. New here and to MIDI. I've looked everywhere and haven't been able to find an answer to my specific situation. Hopefully this isn't old news.
I've owned an MPC One for a few years and just purchased an Arturia Minilab 3 in order to have more knobs for effects and parameters. I've been reading how to map via the learn function but am confused.
My goal is to map the four faders on the Minilab to the ADSR of all the synth plugins. I'm assuming I have to go through each individual plugin and "learn map" for each fader. My questions are: Do I have to go through and map everytime I turn on my mpc and start a new project? And...is there a way to control individual plug in effects? I'd like to control parameters in delay pro with knobs on the controller without having to go in and remap everything. Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks for the help.

I did that yesterday, inspired by your question.

I did map a couple of controls to my midi controller and it worked fine, even after switching to another hype preset. But when I changed the Plugin and went back to hype most controls where gone, just Volume and PAN where still there, all the mapping where empty. Loading the saved hype preset didint help. any tricks for that?

I think it’s helpful to consider each plug-in as a different hardware synth. Each instrument is its own animal, so having to map controls for each ADSR env. seems reasonable.

What frustrates me is the inability to map controls that are common across projects like volume, pan, mute, sends et al. Every project requires a new mapping exercise, which is begging for an enhancement IMHO.

But the mapping should stay to that Plugin across all presets, it didn't in my case. And global mapping for all presets are a must. Also import/export via XML file should come. So we can edit the XML and not click around for hours inside the mpc.
