Brand new- totally ignorant user here.
After updating to 12.2 I got the new plugins instruments are available message. It says "Open preferences and select the active plugins tab- you can download the files for each plugin from there."
when I go to the active plugin screen it shows inMusic profile and says to connect to a network to access my account and gives no buttons or options on the screen- but I'm on the mpc one not the plus so I dont understand how I could connect to a network w/o wifi
I have watched videos explaining how to install the files via usb but I guess the site and options have changed since the video was made because when I go to the download section of the akai website I can not find the content file links for the instruments.
Any suggestions? Links to the content files for the included instruments?
I'm sure this is stupid easy and I'm just overlooking something
Thanks ya'll

No computer needed. Connect the mpc via Ethernet direct to your router or to any other internet enabled Ethernet port in your location. If you want to be continuously connected and have no port nearby you could purchase a powerline system (internet runs through your electric cables), e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/TL-PA4010PKIT- ... C83&sr=8-3

Or a wireless repeater with its own Ethernet port
