I did search before starting this post so hope it`s ok as I couldn`t find the info I`m after.

On the MPC X I`m wondering if it`s possible use the USB audio outputs from the Elektron Ananlog Four mk2.
Don`t have the Analog 4 yet but it`s next on the list. If not there`s always the analogue line inputs option however if the MPC X will take the Analog 4 audio over usb there`s then other things I can use the analogue inputs for instead.

If anybody can confirm this one way or the other i`d be most grateful.

The rule is simple, if your external device isn't class compliant (AKA requires drivers on PC) and doesn't work at the sample rate of 44,1kHz then the answer is no, it's not going to work with the MPC standalone.

that wasn't really the right answer..
MPC's do not support "usb audio" they only support "class compliant audio interfaces"

so, using an external audio device on USB into an MPC won't "free up the analog ports" because MPC disables it's internal ports when using an external audio interface.
