How to set up MPC for live playing?

Hi all! We're all using MPC in all sorts of ways. From composing to sample editing, to mixing to live playing. Since 'sounds' menu showed up on MPC platform, I'm using it as a keyboard instrument of sorts. Just generic midi keys + my compact controller for buttons, sliders, etc. So I'm using MPC in a band setting in sounds menu (key range edit/ sound selection). My idea is have each song section as a sequence and switch between them on part change. The problem I want to solve is to have sound tweaked properly for each section. For instant switch between sequences MPC MUST BE STOPPED. Though there is SUDDEN option in next seq mode, but I'd like to automate that process by using program change or just use +/- buttons on MPC itself. How would you go to set up cutoffs an stuff at the start of each sequence? Automate every parameter at 1.1.1 ? Just want to know your opinion
