Sorry in advance if this questions been answered

Im just confused as hell rn

Long story short - can i use the mpc one as an audio interface?

Basically i plan on using the mpc for its main purpose of creating music and using it alongside with its dedicated software

But for separate music stuff where i dont need the mpc, can i just use it for my monitors / run midi keyboards through when playing keys for example in logic? Im so confused as to why ppl would need an interface when the mpc is already an interface?

I have an rme ufx interface. Bought it way before mpc x/key61.
I will not do away with the ufx just because the other 2 can be used as an audio interface.
UFX is the better interface.

I feel u boss, i wouldnt part with that interface either

my questions pretty stupid i know but i guess im just asking if its safe to assume i can use my mpc one to plug my studio monitors into, to output the audio of a song im doing all in logic?

Lets say i wouldnt be needing the mpc except to plug a midi keyboard into - controlling what im doing in logic:, and to use the mpc for the output audio via headphones or studio monitors etc

Long story long - just wondering if the mpc one can act as an ssl2 or a motu etc?

Respects og

Controller mode ~> mpc software.
Mpc software as a vst in logic.
Computer chooses mpc as audio device.

Connect powered monitors ~> mpc.
Or
Connect mpc main outs ~> amp ~> monitors.

These are the steps I’d attempt if I were to do it.

I wouldn‘t use the One(+) as an interface. It doesn‘t have proper microphone preamps and no additional monitoring outputs. If you‘d only record synths etc. it‘s okay, but you‘d need a mixer connected to the MPC‘s inputs to handle more. Even then, it’d have no individual headphone output for cues.
