So I just decided to try out the software again, after not using it for four years. I actually think I will find some of the editing features handy, even though I plan to work mostly in standalone.
Unfortunately though, it seems that the software screws up the MIDI port names when I save the project. Every MIDI track is set to a generic name (2-MPC Live Port 2) rather than the correct name (I have customized mine, and they work great in standalone.) I have edited the names within the software as well, and they match the names in standalone.
Is this a common headache? Is there a fix?
