MPC account won't stay logged in in standalon

How's it going? Sorry if this had been asked before, searched and couldn't find anything helpful.
I bought my MPC One secondhand and registered with inmusic right away. I mostly use it in controller mode, but recently wanted to use it in standalone. I set everything up using the synth manager, but when I open in standalone my MPC reverts back to the account of the previous user blocking me out of my plugins.

Any advice on how to resolve this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You didn’t dirigid specifically mention in your post, but have you physically logged out of the old account in standalone mode and then logged in with your own details using the QR code?

Hi everyone,
I just bought an MPC One second hand too. I have a similar problem in that in controller mode, my account is working, but in standalone mode, the previous owner's account is active.

The problem is now that in standalone mode, I can't seem to be able to log out of this previous account, as the button is greyed out.

Is this a problem of the previous owner failing to logout while being connected to his computer? Because I am able to logout of my own account while in controller mode.

What can I do to log out this old account?

I solved the problem now by connecting the MPC to ethernet. Once I did, the old user account was automatically logged out and I was able to log in using the QR code.

Not sure though why an ethernet connection is necessary for this. Shouldn't a USB connection to a computer with MPC 2 software be enough?

USB connection to a computer doesn’t provide internet access to a standalone mpc, you need to connect via Ethernet or wifi while in standalone
