MPC live II stops recording

As of recently I’ll be recording as normal then randomly it will act like it’s recording but it doesn’t record anything.
Everything flashes
Get my count in
Play my part and get nothing on playback
It will continue to do this until I turn it off and try again later but this is really annoying and disruptive to work flow to say the least
These machines are so temperamental

Reset Your Preferences in the Setup menu. That'll start everything fresh. Then it'll be easier to Troubleshoot

This happened to me and I figured out that I had accidentally unarmed the track recording on the main page by tapping around the screen too much
