On my Key 61, I created an 8-bar drum groove from one of the factory kits. I'd like to use that track in another project. Is there a way to do that? I cannot find anything in the MPC Bible on how to do it, nor in this forum. Anyone know how?

Open a new project, load the respective sequence and delete the stuff you don‘t need. Don‘t forget to purge unwanted stuff after that.

Maybe the easiest way is to first export the drum track as a separate file. Load up the original project and if the drums are all on one track, go to MAIN > track row pencil > export as pattern. If the drums are spread over multiple tracks it will probably be easier to export the entire sequence - MENU > SAVE > Sequence

Now open your new project, and in BROWSER > Places locate the pattern or MIDI file you exported and load it into your project. Now assign a kit to the imported track.

MPC Tutor: Thanks, that worked! Very nice. Last thing, my sequence is 80 bars. However the drum groove is 8 bars. How do I duplicate the groove 10 times to make it match the sequence length?
