I've owned the MPC Key-61 (twice) and the MPC Live.
This is my first go round with the MPC X SE.

Currently assembling some of my own drum samples.
Have to say that the extra Q-Link knobs make editing samples a lot quicker/easier (IMO).
Wish I would have gotten the X long ago...

Even the 8 knobs of the Force is a big improvement over just 4. So can imagine 16 must be amazing!

Yeah, but the X is the best because what you see is what you get. On the Force with 8 knobs in a straight line you have to pay attention to what knob is doing what compared to how the Q-Links is structuredon the screen & make sure you're in the right bank of knobs. Bank A is knobs 1-9 & bank be is 9-16. Luckily you can look at the little screen under the knobs which most MPCs don't have, but sometimes the layout feels off. Hard to explain, but it ain't that big of a deal once you kinda get used to it. Hopefully the Force will have 2 rows of 8 knobs & they put the Track buttons on top of pads instead of the bottom.
