Hey there.
I want to trigger a synth with a soft attack so that it´s reached the end of the attack stage on the first beat of my sequence. In Logic for example, you can set a predelay (negative delay if you will) to midi notes so that they get triggered a few milliseconds before the actual midi note starts. Because if I place the midi note on the first beat (the envelope gets triggered on the first beat) the timing is off. Workarounds are starting the sequence a bar later (this is an annoyance when chaining multiple sequences) or putting the midi note at the end of the before-going sequence (which is an annoyance when working just on that sequence). Thx for your time.
