Ok this is screwed up.
I am trying to control a single keygroup program with two tracks; one for notes, and one for automation. This is so I can record with the notes track, but also switch that off so I can play from the keyboard instead, with the automation still happening. I believe I have done this before, though it has been a while. Anyway, instead of these tracks being independent:
- The automation I add to the Automation track also shows up on the Notes track.
- When I mute the Notes track, no automation plays.
Is this unreasonable to expect, or a bug? The other times I have done this, I was using an external MIDI instrument.
