Right after Roger Linn popped Akai drops a new plugin. I ain't mad, but it feels too soon. But whatever, we got a new tool to use.

May nothing, maybe a nice promotional strategy. Who's knows. Just after the Linn video got us high on Akai, they drop something new for us to buy.

This is funny. I’ve been using the Knock Clipper lately with the mpc software since it has zero latency and was going to make a post speculating they would port the knock clipper vst to mpc since decap does work with Akai
This will be very much welcome for standalone if it sounds good (sounds like they are hinting it’s modeled after the fruity softclipper)

AIR Soft Clipper is designed to support VST 2 and VST3 Plugin hosts as well as full support for AU, AAX, MPC standalone and desktop systems running version 2.14 ( or later). This software requires an internet connection for authorization. You will need to install Akai's MPC desktop software version 2.14 or higher to use desktop versions of the plugins.

not interested in this might get the beat fx when next on sale; but more want standalone stems, I agree a parametric EQ & graphic EQ's would be welcome.
